Females have them. They are x-rays of the inside of the female's breasts for early detection of cancer.
They thought I had a line of cancer cells. Turned out to be cysts, nothing more.

Actually YES! It is just a type of UltraSound. Not only pregnant women have them. A guy could have a kidney stone, gall bladder, or an embedded piece of a bullet, etc. An ultrasound would find it. Then they stick a long needle in you (you can see it on the monitor...like playing pacman) and insert a wire to pinpoint its location. They remove the needle (which goes DEEEEP) and leave the wire...uh, that's TMI, huh? Eh? Forget it.
Few men have mammograms. Only if they have big breasts due to too much flab or that area is enlarged to do inherited genes. Very few. And normally not to see if the guy has cancer. Only done if the guy is having chest pains and/or sees a bulge (NOT muscle, of course) or knot. To see if cancer or a tumor is in his chest.
