My firnd told me that you can now pre-order a PS3 from harvey norman for $1000 lol what a rip and also that it comes out november or something like that. But talk about a rip.

I dont wanna come across as a drooling Xbox/Xbox 360 fanboy, but I HATE the PS3. Actually, I love it, I want it to have my babies. But for 1000 bucks? I hope you die Sony...I hope you die.

Mergh. If sony had it, nobody would of bought it because the PS3 costs too much. According to polls in Japan, the Wii is more popular already.

I don't think the Wii will even need an ad campaign to win in Japan..

The Japanese market will always go for a unique gaming experience. The playstation 2 came out with an easy to handle interface, and a very simply controller layout. A variety of games of any sort could be played on the console because it was so straight forward. Compared to the Xbox and its bulky look and unusual controller layout, it seemed too much of a hassle to buy a new console when they already had their precious PS. The Wii, however, has already proved to support a variety of games including sports, racing, or "acid-trip" type games, and the controller was not only unique, but simple. The PS3, although faster, and more powerful than either of it's competitors, is falling below the ranks because it cannot provide a more unique experience. With the 360 taking over the US market with all it's hype, the Wii is taking over Japan. Sony needs to stop sitting on their asses and trying to make it better. It's already fast enough, and can handle whatever shit you want it to. Now give us something fun to play. Unless Sony can stop worrying about all the technical issues with their console, they're screwed.
